Donating to WAMAL

Are you interested in adopting or fostering, but unable to take in a new pup at this time? There are still many ways to support our efforts to help us connect these lovely dogs with their forever homes, and one of the best ways to do it is through donations! Donations help with everything from education and outreach to the daily care of all the dogs waiting for their new homes. We couldn’t do it without you!
The Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League is operated entirely from donations, both monetary and material. WAMAL is a federally approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization:
FEIN 91-1962968.
If you would like to help, all donation of monies or material would be gratefully accepted and are tax-deductible. Thank wooo!
Your Donation can Save a Life Today!

Donations in Memoriam:
A donor may wish to make a gift in memoriam of a family member, valued friend, or pet.
Direct Gift of Appreciated Securities:
This method conserves the donor’s cash while helping to avoid capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities. The market value of the securities is deductible in the current year’s tax return. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.
Direct Gifts of Life Insurance:
If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring the policy to the WAMAL may provide benefits to both WAMAL and the donor. The Trust would ultimately collect the policy value and the donor may be entitled to an income tax deduction in the amount of the policy’s value. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.
Wills:
The donor may list WAMAL as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made at the donor’s death
