Dog Details

KUMA is a young malamute that came to WAMAL via a partner shelter. He recently had eye surgery to treat entropian (a condition that caused his eyelashes to grow inward). Now that his eyes are all fixed up he would like to see his way into your heart! Goofy and sweet are the best two words to describe this pup.  Typical of his breed, he will not do well in a home with smaller animals and was particularly interested in the rooster he saw. He is reported to have done well with all the dogs he met at the shelter, so may enjoy a home with another dog. He does pretty well on leash and passed all of his temperament tests with flying colors! Kuma is ready to join you on your outdoor adventures and chill on the couch with you in the evenings!
