Dog Details

RUGER is a young malamute/husky mix that is ready to find his furever home!  He has been bounced around some already in his young life, though has been well cared for and is a happy-go-lucky pup.  Ruger will thrive in a home that is ready to help him with training and getting positive outlets for all that energy!  He is already housebroken and crate trained, though will definitely need help on leash work.  He also knows some commands including 'sit' and 'lay down' and could use continued work on following those consistently and when he is excited.  He is treat motivated, which will help make training fun and rewarding for everyone.  He takes treats gently and enjoys being around people and getting attention.  He has done well with older kids.  Ruger may also do well in a home with another dog, though will need some help on learning boundaries.  He has the typical high prey drive, so no small animals in the home.  If you are ready for some puppy antics, this sweet guy may be for you!
