Dog Details

NIKITA has a "happy go lucky" personality.  She is friendly to everyone!  She entertains herself with toys and likes to take one to bed with her.

NIKITA enjoys car rides, so much that she will race you to the car, eager to get in.  She walks well on a leash but does pull some, which will require some training.  She enjoys taking frequent walks around the neighborhood checking on the activities. NIKITA knows the basic commands; "sit", "down", "shake", "high five" and "come".  But being a typical malamute girl, she will only do them when she feels lke it, even when there are treats involved! 

As the only "dog child" in her former house, NIKITA is not used to sharing.  She wants to be Queen of the house and receive the special attention that royalty deserves.

Sadly, NIKITA's owner passed away and now she needs to find a new furever home.  She will probably take some time to adjust to her new home, but with a little encouragement should be fine. Can you be this gentle giant's new family?

NIKITA is currently being fostered by a loving family in Western Washington.
