LUCO is an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! He is eager to meet new people and will greet you with a big lean followed by a flop to the ground for you to rub his belly.
Slightly aloof, LUCO enjoys his independence, doing what he likes to do, when he wants to do it! So basically your typical malamute.
LUCO likes to play with other big dogs, especially a good game of tag. However, a slow introduction to another dog in a new home would be best.
Unlike a lot of dogs, LUCO is not treat motivated. He prefers a good rub on the head or hug as his award. He will need training including the proper way to walk on a leash. A good show of love and praise should encourage him to perform.
LUCO's furever home should have the availablity to give him lots of exercise and tasks to keep his mind busy. As a new family member he would love to be included in ALL your activities!
