Radar is a stunning husky–malamute–shepherd mix with the kind of spirit and intelligence you’d expect from that trio. He’s young, energetic, and eager for a home where he can truly thrive.

• Up to date on vaccinations, fixed, crate trained, and housebroken
• Treat‑motivated and smart, which makes training rewarding
• Dog‑friendly — he enjoys the company of other dogs
• Playful and active — soccer balls, toys, and long walks are his love language

Radar still has a lot of puppy energy and would flourish with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and appreciates a dog with both brains and enthusiasm.

What Radar Needs to Succeed

Radar is not a match for homes with small children or cats. He currently lives with toddlers, and the combination of his anxiety and their unpredictability has led to stress behaviors, including a recent bite that did not break the skin. His family is doing the right thing by seeking a home that better fits his needs.

He can be wary of strangers and will bark until he feels safe, but once you’ve earned his trust, he welcomes you into his “pack” wholeheartedly. Because of this anxiety, the local humane society felt their environment would make things harder for him — which means he’s counting on a patient adopter who can give him the calm, consistent environment he deserves.
